Introduction

Hi there! I’m Claire and this is my family. I am married to my best friend! Alex is the most hardworking, sports obsessed, fried chicken loving man I have ever met. He makes me laugh on a daily basis, and I cannot imagine raising my babies with anyone else. He is the best dada in the whole world! We have two babies: Charlie (2 yrs) and Amelia (6m). Charlie is the sweetest, funniest little tot. He Is definitely entering the tantrum stages, but we can usually end them quickly with an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Amelia is our angel baby. She is seriously the most laid back baby in the whole world. I don’t know if it is because Charlie is so wild, but she just likes to sit back, relax, and watch everyone else. We could not be blessed with better babies!

Speaking of babies, I can’t forget to introduce y’all to our fur-babies: Buster (longhaired dachshund) and Bella (golden/lab mix).

Now that you have met my family, I will introduce you to myself a little more personally. I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, and never quite made it out of my hometown. I attended college here, got married here, and now have babies here. I love Mobile, it is like a small, big city if that makes any sense!? I attended college at the University of South Alabama and got my BSN (nursing) degree. I worked as a RN in the same intensive care unit for almost 7 years. I recently got my masters degree in nursing, in hopes that one day I could become a nursing educator or possibly hospital administrator. Then came the babies. Babies can change your whole perspective on life! After my second baby, Amelia, was born, I knew that I wanted to stay home with her. I love nursing, and eventually, I plan on going back to work full time. But for now, I am going to enjoy my time at home raising these sweet babies of mine!

I still can’t believe I took a leap of faith to finally start my blog!  During my maternity leave, I spent a lot of time on the computer teaching myself about blogging and social media. It can be so intimidating.  This is all fairly new to me but I am really enjoying it! I love sharing my life and experiences with you guys. I have already met so many awesome people, and I can’t wait to meet more. My blog will be all about lifestyle, motherhood, even some fashion mixed in, and I am so excited to share new content!
